  1. Policy

    ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø will return Title IV Funds in accordance with federal guidelines.

  2. Purpose

    The purpose of this policy is to comply with federal guidelines governing Title IV funds.

  3. Procedures

    Procedures for return of Title IV Funds are contained in the Financial Aid Policies & Procedures Manual, located in the UMW Financial Aid Office.

  4. Authority

    Federal regulations based on the Higher Education Act of 1965, Reauthorization in 2008, cited in Section 13 of the UMW Financial Aid Policy & Procedures Manual.

  5. Responsibility

    Vice Chancellor for Administration and Finance, Registrar, Director of Financial Aid
